John Donne creates a variety of women images in his poetry. Some women are amorous but changeable; some are faithful and constant; some are ideal and even divine. These images reflect Donne＇s complex view on women. This paper tries to analyze some typical women images in Donne＇s peetry to see Donne＇s view on women who can be categorized as libertine women,the faithful women,the court lady,the embodiment of the body and soul,and the union of human and divine image.
