The reaction kinetics of direct methanol oxidation and carbonylation in vapor phase for DMC (dimethyl carbonate) production has been investigated with the supported catalyst CuCl 2/C at 2.0MPa and 110￣140℃. An intrinsic double rate kinetic model considering both DMC and DMO productions has been obtained.
