Research State of the Dormancy and Pregermination of Pinus koraiensis Seed in China and Aboard

多年来国内外学者对红松种子的休眠及催芽问题进行了大量的研究，本文从种子的休眠原因、休眠机理及催芽方法等方面对前人的研究成果进行了分析和概括，并结合国内外有关种子休眠问题的研究趋势。

In this paper, the researches in seed dormancy for Pinus koraiensis China and abroad are reviewed synthetically, mainly on the causes and mechanisms of seed dormancy and pregerminating methods. Here are several opinions on the cause of P. Koraiensis seed dormancy and the following three views are common: 1. the resisting effects of seed coat on mechanical force and air permeability; 2. endogenous inhibitors, especially the ABA content; 3. physiological post maturation of embrao. For the seed dormancy mechanism, most researches were done on the aspects of the control of endogenous promoting substances (hormone), the control of metabolic substances as well as the effects of peroxidase. The stratification is mainly used till now as seed pregerminating methods. On the basis of analysing these studies on P. koraiensis and the research trend with other tree species on seed dormancy, the authors put forward the view of P. koraiensis seed dormancy, which is helpful not only for understanding the theory, but also for further studing of P. koraiensis seed dormancy.
