论古代书院教育的成功经验——以清代扬州书院为例

The Successful Experience in Ancient Academy Education——A Case of Yangzhou Academy in Qing Dynasty

中国古代的书院是中国教育思想传播的重要场所,书院教育虽然以科举为目的,但是古代一些书院还是培养了一大批在各个领域都有很高建树的杰出人才。清代扬州书院拥有丰富的教学资源、先进科学的教学理念和当地盐商雄厚的财政支持。这些重要条件给书院学子营造了一个良好的教育环境,为以后形成清代扬学打下了坚实的基础。

Chinese ancient academies were the important educational places, Though passing the imperial examination was their purpose, the academies still trained lots of outstanding persons in every field. In Qing dynasty, Yangzhou academy had plentiful education resources, advanced teaching thoughts and strong financial support from local salt businessmen. All of these made a good educational environment for students, and laid a firm base to the formation of Yang group.
