法律英语教学现状分析与教学改革思路探讨

On the Reality of College Legal English Teaching and Its Reform Exploration

市场对涉外法律人才不断增大的需求量、对人才素质越来越高的要求,对我国高校的法律英语教学提出了新的挑战。然而,目前的"法律英语"课程在教学要求、教学模式以及课程设置等一系列问题仍有待解决,教学成果无法充分满足市场需求。本文针对这一问题,根据《大学英语教学要求(试行)》的精神,调查分析社会对法律英语人才的需求状况、现有大学法律英语教学的实际、学生对法律英语教学的期待和建议,并根据调查的结果进行分析,为"法律英语"课程的教学大纲的制定、课程的设置、教材的编写以及教学模式的改革提供依据。

The past decade saw an ever-increasing demand of the advanced legal intellects in the job market, which challenges the Legal English teaching quality in Chinese universities. At present, there is still a long way to go in satisfying the market for there are a number of problems to be solved in the teaching requirements, teaching mode and curriculum design of Legal English. This paper, taking all these problems into consideration, sets out to have a through survey in the supply and demand of the legal market, the reality of legal English teaching in Chinese universities and the expectation and suggestion of the learners, accordingly, explores the suggestive direction in the reform of the unsatisfying syllabus, curriculum and the redaction of teaching materials.
