Constructing Harmonious Society and Making Social Progress

社会文明是社会和谐的表现和直接结果。社会文明与物质文明、政治文明、精神文明一起组成社会整体文明系统。社会文明的基本内涵包括社会关系文明、社会行为文明、社会制度文明、社会结构文明等。建设社会文明与构建和谐社会是内在统一的,二者相互联系、相互促进。我们要在构建和谐社会中推进社会文明建设。

Social progress is the representation and direct result of social harmony. Social progress, material progress, political progress and cultural and ideological progress constitute an integrative system. The primary connotation of social progress involves such aspects as social relations, social manners, social institutions, social structure and so on. Social progress and social harmony are correlated and mutually promoting each other. We must boost our social progress in the course of constructing the harmonious society.
