Using the different scales of topographic maps and some measured data in Zhanyi county of QuJing as the information sources, the author analyzed the accuracy of gradient value with DEM pixel under different resolutions, determined the grid size of DEM, studied the gradient accuracy with different DEM resolution On different software platform and analyzed the influence of the gradient on the accuracy of pixel gradient, offering a method of practical application for DEM.
