摘要 基于策略的信息生命周期管理对于存储和数据的高效使用至关重要,数据分类和策略管理的方便性以及策略执行的高性能成为该领域的突出问题。T-Archive是一个基于分级存储系统架构的策略控制的生命周期管理系统。该系统提供数据分类、策略定制管理、数据自动迁移以及客户端和应用对数据的完全透明访问。实验结果表明,迁移文件的透明访问机制对系统性能影响很小,极大地减少了客户端的管理开销,增强了系统的可扩展性。研究了策略管理在策略缓存方面的性能,使其能够很好地适应大规模的文件系统。 The policy-based information lifecycle management is crucial to efficient use of storage and data. Data classification and high performance of policy management are two hot topics. T-Archive is a system architecture designed for information lifecycle management based on hierarchical storage architecture. The architecture provides convenient data classification, completed policy management, automatic data migration and transparent access to the migrated data to clients and application. The experiment proves that transparent access to migrated data ease the management of clients while introducing little penalty to the architecture and improve its scalability. Re- search and implementation of the policy cache ensure that the architecture's availability in large scale file system.
