The History and Research Progress of Artificial Heart

摘要 人工心脏是利用机械的方法把血液输送到全身各器官以代替心脏的功能。人工心脏可分为暂时性,即部分取代心脏的辅助性人工心脏(ventricular assist device,VAD);长期性,即取代整个心脏的全人工心脏(total artificial heart,TAH)。笔者对VAD和TAH的历史和现状进行了研究。 By mechanical way Artificial Heart can transport blood to organs of all over body instead of the heart function. Artificial Heart includes two kinds： one is ventricular assist device （VAD） which is temporary and can replace partly heart; another is total artificial heart （TAH） which is long-term and can totally replace heart. This article discusses the history and research progress of VAD and TAH.
