摘要
女性主义翻译理论作为翻译理论的文化流派,通过语言的性别角色研究与转换,将翻译研究置于后现代主义的研究范畴中。女性主义翻译研究者提倡把女性主义观念移植入译本,解构男性菲勒斯文化,强调翻译的政治性,让语言替女性说话以突出女性主体身份和女性意识。同时,女性主义译论也受到多方的质疑。从翻译思想研究的认识论、对策论和方法论角度出发,可以看到该译论存有诸多方面的局限性:翻译哲学思想基础比较薄弱;一些翻译主张有偏颇、极端之嫌;"话语霸权"势头的出现;在实验性作品的翻译实践中方法单一等。
During the last thirty years of 20^th century, gender issues, as a result of the women's movement,have been entangled with issues of academic studies and artisrie writing. Gender has become an issue in translation practice, translation theory and criticism. Over the same period, translation studies have developed as part of the more general turn toward cultural studies. Feminist theorists approach translation from a gender - studies angle with a perspective of postmedernism. They see a parallel betweon the status of translation, which is often considered to be derivative and inferior to the original writing, and that of women, so often repressed in society and literature. Therefore, they inzist on interplanting feminist ideas into translation, deconstructing logoeentrism with emphasis on political weight in translation in the sense that the feminist'identlty and coltsciousness may be revealed in words. However, feminist translation study is open to some debate since its limitations in fragile translational philosophical basis, partial and radical position in some translation ideas, emergency of discourse hegemony and translation methods in experimental feminist translation practice.
