摘要
卫星云图描绘了云团的具体形态和空间位置,对于理解大范围天气变化具有重要意义.卫星云图的三维可视化一直是卫星云图信息化处理的研究重点之一,本文分析了卫星云图三维化的基本原理、卫星云图的投影变换和三维数据源的获取方法,采用OpenGL和VR技术两种三维可视化方法实现了卫星云图的空间立体特征,其中基于DEM模型文件的虚拟现实可视化方法对于进一步的真实环境场可视化具有深远的现实意义,将是未来研究的重点.
Satellite cloud images describe the shapes and spatial position of cloud mass, which is significant to understand the weather condition in a large area. Three-dimensional visualization of satellite cloud images is one of the key technologies of the satellite cloud image information processing, The basic theory underlying 3-D visualization, projection transformation for satellite cloud images and data extraction of 3-D information sources was analyzed synthetically. Two 3-D visualization methods, which use OpenGL and VR technologies respectively, were developed to achieve the spatial characteristics of satellite cloud images. In the paper, the virtual reality visualization method based on DEM model has far-reaching significance for further research on real environmental field visualization.
