摘要
目的:了解重庆市近郊学龄前儿童维生素A和铁营养状况之间的关系.方法:对重庆市巴南区四所幼儿园的470名学龄前儿童的维生素A和铁的营养状况进行调查和评价,并对其相关性进行分析.结果:无贫血组和轻度贫血组儿童的维生素A缺乏率分别是5%和12.5%,维生素A正常、边缘性维生素A缺乏以及维生素A缺乏儿童的贫血发病率分别是21.5%,24.8%和40.0%.无贫血组儿童维生素A平均浓度高于贫血组.随维生素A水平的下降,铁蛋白呈增高趋势,而血红蛋白和转铁蛋白受体则呈下降趋势.结论:维生素A和铁之间存在相互影响.贫血儿童的干预应该在补充铁剂的同时补充维生素A.
AIM: To investigate the correlation of vitamin A and iron nutritional status of preschool children in the suburb of Chongqing. METHODS: Vitamin A and iron nutritional status of 470 preschool children from 4 kindergartens in Banan district of Chongqing were detected and analyzed for the correlation. RESULTS: Morbility of vitamin A deficiency in non-anemia and mild anemia children were 5% and 12.5% respectively, while morbility of anemia in normal vitamin A, marginal vitamin A deficiency and vitamin A deficiency children were 21. 5%, 24.8% and 40.0% respectively. The average vitamin A level of non-anemia children was higher than that of children with anemia. Correlated with the decrease of vitamin A level, ferritin level gradually increased, while hemoglobin and serum transferrin receptor levels gradually decreased. CONCLUSION: There is a correlation between vitamin A and iron nutritional status. Thus, supplementary intervention with multiple-micronutritions (mainly vitamin A and iron) should be performed to the preschool children in the district to improve their nutritional status of vitamin A and iron deficiency.
