The 2007' Top 10 News Stories of the Basic Research in China

2007年度"中国基础研究十大新闻"评选结果于2008年1月31日在北京揭晓,11项具有重大原创性、新闻性和社会影响性的研究成果入选:①中国首颗探月卫星"嫦娥一号"发射成功并顺利传回探测数据;②在多光子纠缠和光学量子计算的实验方面取得新进展;③合成出室温条件下具有超大塑性的块体金属玻璃材料;④找到保存在滞育卵囊中的胚胎化石和6.3亿年前的动物化石;⑤合成出具有高电氧化催化活性的二十四面体铂纳米晶;⑥证实CASP8基因启动子的一个六核苷酸插入/缺失多态与多种癌症易感性相关;⑦揭示出多巴胺-蘑菇体环路在果蝇基于价值抉择中的调控作用;⑧发现β抑制因子-1是调节CD4+T细胞存活和自身免疫性的关键因子;⑨证实大熊猫仍存在较高的遗传多样性和进化潜力;⑩A在声子晶体中实现声波的双负折射;⑩B发现全球水循环中的溶解无机碳可能是一个重要的碳汇。"中国基础研究十大新闻"由科学技术部基础研究管理中心、中国科学技术协会学会学术部主办,科技导报社、《中国基础科学》编辑部承办。评选活动始终坚持"公平、公正、公开"原则,从以中国科研单位为主在本年度内取得或公开发表的基础研究领域的重大研究进展中,科学界推荐出197项,主办者初选出31项,1600余位两院院士、首席科学家通过函评确定了11项最终入选研究成果。

The Top 10 News Stories of 2007 in Basic Research in China, sponsored by Basic Research Management Center of Ministry of Science and Technology, and Association Science Department of China Association for Science and Technology, are announced in Beijing on January 31, 2008. Ten representatives of basic research results with great originality, newsworthy and society influence are selected. They are： （1） China＇s ＂Chang＇e 1＂ lunar exploration satellite successfully launched and sent back data; （2） New progress in multi-photon entanglement and quantum computing; （3） Super plastic bulk metallic glasses at room temperature; （4） Doushantuo embryos preserved inside diapause egg cysts found; （5） Synthesis of tetrahexahedral platinum nanocrystals with high electro-oxidation activity; （6） A six-nueleotide insertion-deletion polymorphism in the CASP8 promoter associated with susceptibility to multiple cancers; （7） Dopamine-mushroom body circuit regulates saliency-based decision-making in drosophila; （8） Detection of the critical regulation of CD4 ＋ T cell survival and autoimmunity by β-arrestin 1; （9） Giant pandas are not facing the evolutionary dead end; （10） A Negative birefraction of acoustic waves in a sonic crystal realized; （11） B The dissolved inorganic carbon in global water cycle may be an important carbon sink.
