中部五省教育对经济增长贡献率的估算与比较

The Contributions of the Educational Growth to the Economic Growth Rate:An Evaluative Comparison of the Five Provinces in Center China

采用丹尼森和麦迪逊的算法,计算中部五省1990～2005年间高等教育对经济增长率的贡献,结果显示:中部中五省的教育贡献率在3.69%～6.97%之间,且高等教育的贡献率均不足1%。通过省际间横向比较发现:教育贡献率最高的是安徽省,高等教育贡献率最高的是湖北省;通过时间段的纵向比较发现:五省教育对经济增长贡献的水平均很低。

This study based on the model of Denison and Maddison, explored the contribution of education to the economic growth rate in Center China between 1990 and 2005, We found that the contribution of education to the economic growth rate in Center China were between 3.69%-6.97%, Moreover, that the contribution of the higher education to the economic growth rate were lower than 1%; The comparison discovered through the province border that, The highest ratio of contribution to the economic growth was Anhui Province, while which had the highest higher education＇s ratio of contribution to the economic was HuBei Province; Wholly, the level of the contribution were very low.
