Three Misunderstandings of the China's Marketing Reform

在建设社会主义市场经济体制的过程中,公共事业领域容易产生三大误区:一是教育部门产业化,二是科学研究商品化,三是医疗收费无序化。公共事业领域如果也和竞争性行业一样完全市场化,是非常危险的。其直接后果是滋生公共事业的各种腐败现象,长远看来则破坏教育、科研、卫生事业的信誉和整个社会保障体系,从根基上毁坏社会稳定的基础。

In the process of constructing a socialist marketing economy system,three misunderstandings can be easily produced in the area of the public utilities： first, it is the education behavior becomes industrilized; second, scientific research becomes commercialized; and third, medical charge becomes disordered. If the public utilities become a complete market just like other competitive industries, it is extremely dangerous, the direct consequence of it is various corrupt practices in public utilities , which will destroy the credibility of the government and the social stability from foundation.
