摘要
概述了光纤中受激布里渊散射(SBS)作用于微波光子信号的工作原理,基本特性以及工作方式。从受激布里渊散射增益谱的角度对微波光子信号的选择放大、倍频、上变频和信号产生以及从损耗谱的角度对信号载波抑制和信号相移等典型应用和研究进展进行了介绍。总结了在这些应用中受激布里渊散射的优势和缺陷,以及可能的应对方案。
The principles, characteristics and operations of stimulated Brillouin scattering (SBS) for microwave photonic signals in optical fiber are summarized. Some classical applications and research progress are introduced, such as, selective amplification, frequency multiplication, up-conversion and signal generation in the terms of the gain spectrum as well as the carrier suppression and phase shift from the loss spectral point of view. The advantages and drawbacks in these applications of SBS are summed up and the possible ways for improvement are given.
