Nowadays, there is a tendency that research more focus on the distributed workflow management system. From the theory and implementation two levels, deeply discussed the solution strategy and the method of distributed workflow system, and also carried on the discussion and the comparison to some concrete realization mechanism, introduced some mature distributional work flow systems, analyzed the system architecture which supported the distributional workflow realization , pointed out the fundamental research insufficiency and the system future tendency and the development direction.
