80年代以来，广东省猛业开发取得很大进展，建设了小带、新榕两个骨干锰矿．全省年产锰矿超20万t．锰矿深加工工业也达一定规模。要总结经验教训，发挥优势，加强地质勘查，以市场为导向，改造和调整深加工工业，以求稳妥发展。
Since the 1980, a great progress has been made in Guangdong's manganese industry with two key mines located at Xiaodai and Xinrong respectively constructed, and with an annual output of more than 200. 000 tons reached throughout the province.
