Under the influence of the western civilization, feminism is developing well in the South Korea bearing the tradition of male chauvinism during the postwar period, which has been demonstrated considerably in its films. In a word, the traditional morals that the male is respected, while the female is regarded as lowly have been contemplating deeply in the Republic of Korea, and women＇s status, role, temperament along with relationship between male and female have been reflecting on in its films.
