摘要
介绍了一个可作为掌上型电脑系统软件内核的动态内存管理系统,该系统采用边界标识法对内存进行描述,可对内存进行动态分配、回收、紧缩等操作,应用模块使用句柄对内存进行读写,可防止写数据溢出,与现有操作系统中的内存管理软件相比,该系统具有代码简单、功能完善、性能可靠等特点,现已应用于“笔译通”产品。
This paper introduces a dynamic memory manage system which can be used as the kernel of the handhold-computer's BIOS. The system adopts the boundrary egg method to describe the memory. Memory can be shared out,resumed and compacted dynamically. The application programs operate the memory by handle,overflaw can be avoided. Comparing with the traditional methods uesed by DOS,our system is better in performance, more compact in size and much easier for users,now it is appreciated in the pen-based Chinese PDA mass-production.
