从词性转换看汉英语言观念的异同

A contrastive study of English and Chinese by conversion of words

汉语多义词中词性转换的类型与英语词类转换的类型不完全对应,但都是通过转喻实现的,无实质区别。然而英语更注重词的功能在词义引申中的作用,因而词性转换程度深,也处理为不同的词。

The conversion of words in Chinese does not respond to that in English, but they are realized by metonymy. So there are no substantial differences in between. However,English takes more functions,and as the extent of function is deep in the conversion, the word is regarded as another word.
