On Cultural Construction and the Returning to the Basic Goal of College Education

党的十七大报告提出要推动"文化大发展大繁荣","让人民共享文化发展成果"。这为高校回归文化本质,强化办学特色,凝炼大学精神,培养创新人才,引领社会创新文化发展提供了重要的战略机遇。

The Report to the Seventeenth National Congress of CPC proposed that “ culture should have a quick and prosperous development” and “the cultural achievements should be shared by all people”. This will be the guideline for colleges and universities to return to their basic goal of cultural education, strengthen their campus traits, enhance their college spirit and train qualified students with a creative spirit, which provides good strategic opportunities to help quicken cultural innovation.
