The Study of Drama Movement in Xinjiang During the Anti-Janpan War

20世纪30～40年代的新疆戏剧运动是中国抗战戏剧运动的重要组成部分。本文通过新疆与重庆、桂林等地戏剧运动的对比,阐明新疆戏剧运动具有的话剧、戏曲、少数民族歌剧共同发展及其曲折性、复杂性特点,论述它在新疆社会和文化转型乃至少数民族戏剧形式、人才培养、审美习惯、戏剧文学等方面的历史意义。

The Drama Movement in Xinjiang during the anti - Janpanese war was an important component of the Chinese Drama Movement at the time . By comparing with the other Drama Movements in Chongqing and Guilin during the anti - Japanese war , the paper expounds the characters that the Drama Movement in Xinjiang possessed, namely, the common development of spoken drama, traditional opera and ethnic opera, as well as the hardship and obstructions during its growth. It, on the other hand, states the historic significance that the Drama Movement had been toward the Xinjiang society and its cultural transformation and even the formation of ethnic drama, nutrition of talented people, mindsets of aesthetics and ethnic drama literature to a certain degree.
