A Study on the Cultural Consciousness and the Construction of Core Value System

价值观是文化的核心,文化是价值的载体,任何一个民族、国家如果没有深刻的文化自觉,就无法构建自己的核心价值体系。在我国社会转型时期,只有坚持以人为本原则,立足于中国特色社会主义建设的实践,积极推进价值观的综合与创新,才能实现中华民族的文化自觉,真正地担当起重建社会主义核心价值体系的文化使命和历史责任。

Values is the core of culture while culture is the cartier of the values. Without profound cultural consciousness, either a nation or a country is not able to construct its core value system. This essay analyses the cultural mission and historical duty as to the realization of cultural consciousness, of Chinese nation, and puts forwards an approach to the construction of the socialist core value system during the social transformation of China, that is, persisting in the principle of people oriented, being established in the construction of socialism with Chinese characteristics and advancing the integration and innovation of values.
