生态消费是适应时代需要的消费价值观,它可以满足人的生态需要,促进生态公正,恢复人的本性,因而对人的全面发展起重要的作用。人的全面发展是社会主义社会的本质要求,因此,社会主义国家要通过生态生产、参与国际宏观调控、以人为本,摒弃资本主义非人道的消费方式等途径,推进生态消费,实现人的全面发展。

Ecological consumption is the outlook on values adapting to the consumption that the times needs. It satisfies the needs of the ecosystem, promotes eco-justice, restores human nature, and therefore it plays an important role in the comprehensive development of human beings. To a socialist society, the comprehensive development of human beings is an essential requirement. Therefore, the socialist state must make measures to put into use the ecological production, participate in international macro-control, insist people-oriented spirit, get rid of capitalism inhuman consumption patterns to promote ecological consumption, and realize the comprehensive development of human beings at last.
