摘要
近１０ａ来以遥感、卫星全球定位系统和地理信息系统为主体的地球信息科学发展迅速，并已走向实用化．介绍了它的发展现状、优越性及其在矿区环境保护中实际应用的成果和体会．
Geoinformatics,of which remote sensing,global positioning system and geographical information system are kernel components,has developed rapidly and become applicability in the last ten years.The recent development and advantages of geoinformatics are introduced,some achievements and understanding in applications for environmental protection in mining area are also described.
