摘要
文章对《简·爱》两个译本中的第十一章,采用许钧、彼得.纽马克(Peter Newmark)有关批评方法,主要就其是否忠实、流畅、再现艺术手法和风格三方面,从语言微观层面进行了对比分析,力求对译文质量进行客观的评估,讨论译文的文化、学术价值。
This paper aims to comment critically on the translation of Jane Eyre,Because of the limited length,only the segment of Chapter 11 will be focused on. In the essay, some critical comments are made from three aspects- truthfulness, expressiveness and reproduction of style to analyze in detail the kills of the translation adopted by the translator, to evaluate the quality of the two versions, and to discuss the academic value.
