Like any other cultures of human beings, mining and metallurgy culture is also the products of system, materials and spirit in the process of transforming nature and reforming ourselves. Studying the common natures, functions and development of these products enables us to understand the connotation of mining and metallurgy culture. The significance of studying mining and metallurgy culture lies in the study of the role of these products to the development of human society. This paper focuses on the study of the mining and metallurgy activities, starts with the essence of the development of human society, explores the contents such as the system, spirit and materials which constitute mining and metallurgy culture, the features and functions of these contents, aiming to reveal the mystery of mining and metallurgy culture.
