The Bohai Sea Rim will be optimized in the period of the 11^th Fiver Year Plan in China, which has shown the trend of coastalization and industrialization of economic development. It is very important to study the situation and potential perils of the economic development in this region. On the basis of the status and features of the economic development in the Bohai Sea Rim, and the trend of layout coastalization of productive forces, the paper thoroughly analyzes the increasingly serious problems of the Bohai Sea＇s resources and ecological environment faced by the regional economic development, such as unreasonable exploitation of coastaline, unbalance layout of regional industrial structure and continuous enlargement of pollution areas, and put forward some suggestions on countermeasures for relieving the conflict. these methods would promote the sustainable economic development in the Bohai Sea Rim and, and at the same time, draw high the governments both at the state and at the local levels to the ecological safety in the Bohai Sea.
