英汉习语体现了中西语言文化差异,而语言又是交际的工具。在英语教学中,口语教学应该尤其突出这一差异。本文探讨了在英语口语教学中如何让学生充分掌握由英汉习语所体现的两种语言的文化差异,从而提高口语教学的效率。

English and Chinese idioms reflect the cultural difference between Chinese and foreign languages, and as we know, language is the tool of communication. Oral English teaching and learning is one kind of communication, so the culture difference is one important part of it. How to help students use English and Chinese idioms ProPerly in oral English teaching and learning is discussed this paper.
