A Research on the Phonetic Phenomena of A Dream of Red Mansions

对《红楼梦》语言成分的研究,已有的成果多着眼于词汇的考察。而除了押韵、谐音等反映方音外,书中一些异形词、记音字也反映出原作者曹雪芹的口语音。这为《红楼梦》语言成分的认定提供了更多的语音上的依据。另外,《红楼梦》中关于避讳改音及个别字的读音也给相关的研究提供了宝贵的资料。

Researches on language composition of A Dream of Red Mansions largely focus on its vocabulary. In fact, it is not only the rhyme and harmonics of the poems in the book but also allograph and transcription that can reflect some phonetic phenomena of Cao Xueqin＇ s accent, which provides an additional phonetic evidence for the language composition of A Dream of Red Mansions. Further more, this novel also provides the related research with valuable materials concerning the taboo against using the personal names of emperors or elders and a few other phonetic changes.
