高师英语专业新生外语学习策略与高考成绩的实证研究

A study on foreign language learning strategies and scores of NMET of freshman English majors from teachers' college

本研究以139名高师英语专业大一新生为对象,利用社会科学统计软件SPSS 10.0对他们的外语学习策略使用情况及其与高考成绩、性别的关系进行了描述性统计和分析。结果表明,学生使用学习策略的频率较高,学习策略与高考成绩之间呈高度正相关关系,高、低分组学生在策略使用上有显著性差异,男生、女生在策略使用上不存在显著性差异,但女生较多使用记忆策略。

The present study is an attempt to investigate the use of foreign language learning strategies （FLLS） by 139 freshman English majors and the correlations thereof with their scores of NMET （national matriculation English test）. Statistical analysis indicates that the overall use of FLLS is at a high level and its average value is 3. 377, that there is positive correlation between the use of FLLS and the scores of NMET, that significant difference of the use of FLLS exists between English majors with scores above 120 （high score group） and those below 120 （low score group）, and that male and female English majors do not differ in their use of FLLS except that the latter make more frequent use of memory strategy.
