The Phenomena of Gap in Character System

同词汇系统、语音系统一样,汉字系统里同样存在着空格现象;消除空格现象的主要手段是创造新字与假借;但是空格现象不会永远消失,它处于一种永无止境的循环之中,即:产生——消除——产生……,并且有一部分空格会一直都留存着。

There is a kind of gap phenomena in Character System, as in Lexical system and Phonetic system, and creating new characters and borrowing are the main methods to eliminate the gaps. But the Character-gap phenomena will not disappear forever, which is an everlasting cycle, that is, appearing---eliminating---appearing...... and a part of them will remain stable without being eliminated!
