1912年至1929年民国民食问题——以《大公报》为视角的考察

People's Food Problem of the Republic of China from 1912 to 1929——A Study Based on Takunpao

民国元年以来,民食问题一直困扰着民国政府。一方面,粮食严重入超,另一方面,民生日惨,大规模饥荒时有发生。民食危机的产生有着多方面的原因:天灾频仍、生产技术落后、封建剥削、军阀统治、土匪劫掠、外国资本主义压迫……而天灾更甚于人祸。本文试以《大公报》为视角,探讨一下1912年至1929年的民食问题及其形成原因。

Since the first year of the Republic of China, people＇s food problem had been a serious social problem which troubled the republic government and the whole society. On the one hand, there was a serious grain trade deficit, and on the other hand, people＇ s, livelihood was miserable and large-scale famines occured frequently. The reasons of food crisis included many aspects ： frequent occurrence of natural disasters, backwardness of production technology, feudal exploitation, warlords＇ rule, bandits＇ looter, foreign capitalist oppression＇＂ These factors had synthetical effects on it but man-made calamities were more than natural disasters. This article based on Takunpao tries to study the public＇s food problem and its causes .
