Based on the analysis of Qing＇s military forces, the factors, the development phases and features of its military system in Tibet and military strategies and his- torical influences, the paper assumes that the Qing＇s military system in Tibet is a crucial system of controlling Tibet by Qing government and is the fact of Qing＇s severity over Tibet, By applying military forces in Tibet, Qing maintained the stability of Tibet, defended the frontier to attack the invasion of others countries, guaranteed the unification of the country, reinforced the authority of Qing government, promoted the communication between Tibet and other parts of China and contributed for the unification of the nation.
