中国社会现代慈善理念的匮乏与培育

The Deficiency and Cultivation of Modern Philanthropic Idea in Chinese Society

慈善事业的发展必须依靠现代慈善理念的支撑。由于几千年中国封建文化传统的影响,计划经济时代国家对慈善意识形态的批判,以及政府对民间慈善空间的挤压甚至替代,致使中国社会缺乏现代慈善理念,主要表现为人本权利观、公民公共意识与社会责任意识以及理性财富观的匮乏。培育现代慈善理念应从批判地吸收中国传统慈善文化的慈善资源、倡导公民之间普遍化的互惠、培育公众公共精神品质以及营造良好的制度空间等着手。

The development of philanthropy needs the support of a modem philanthropic idea. However, the influence of the feudal culture, the State＇s ideological criticism in the era of the planned economy, and the government＇s suppression and substitution of civil philanthropic resources have led to the deficiency of modern philanthropic idea in China. It finds expression in the deficiency of human-oriented outlook on rights, citizen＇s public awareness and awareness of social responsibility, and a rational view of wealth. To cultivate philanthropic culture, we should set about critically absorbing the traditional philanthropic resources of China, encourage citizen＇s general reciprocity, foster the public spirit and construct a favorable system environment.
