The thought of music Aesthetics in ancient China has influenced greatly on Chinese Modem music. In some extent, the history of Chinese music Aesthetics is the history of music Aesthetic thought struggle, thought blend complementarily between confucianism and Taoism. With the developmend and improvement of our times,we should absorb the essence and discard the dross in our traditional music culture, to build a new way for Modem music Aesthetics, which can impel the inditement of modem music and new exploration of music Aesthetic thought.
