摘要
胡适以在美国留学期间的高等教育经历与归国后的高等教育实践活动为基础,逐步形成了具有鲜明特色的以学术独立为核心的高等教育思想。他提倡学术独立的根本目的是要加强中国人在思想、学术、文化、教育方面的独立自主。为实现学术独立,发展高等教育,胡适提出了转变大学观念、制定高等教育发展规划、发挥政府的作用等项建议。胡适争取学术独立的高等教育思想,为我国构建自主创新型高等教育体系提供了重要的启示。
The experiences that Hu Shi achieves in American higher educations during his pursuit of the o-verseas studies help him greatly with his practices of higher education in China. His conceptions of the Chinese higher education feature in the academic independence, which is aimed to strengthen Chinese academic field,culture, and education. Hu poses that universities should change ideas, work out a program for development,and make use of the governmental functions, the purpose of which is set up an independent Chinese educational system.
