论关公信仰与儒释道的关系

Relation between Belief in the Revered Guan and Confucianism,Buddhism,Taoism

关公信仰是中国民间最普遍、最典型的神人信仰。关公信仰的缘起与佛教的广泛传播有直接关系;关公神格的不断提高是以道教的制造"神迹"并与崇道皇权互动为驱力。而关公信仰的真正勃兴在于中国传统士大夫视关羽为英雄,在民间不断强化英雄崇拜观念的结果,反映明清以来国家意识对地方社会的影响与覆盖。

The belief in the Revered Guan is the most common and typical belief in god-man in China and the reason for this belief is directly related with the widespread of the Buddhism. The increasing deification of the Revered Guan was mutually driven by the Taoist creation of godhood and the advocacy of the imperial power. The actual rise of the belief in the Revered Guan started from the time when the traditional Chinese scholar-bureaucrats considered Guan Yu as a hero, which was the consequence of the continuous strengthening of hero worship by the folks. This shows the influence on and the coverage of the local society by the national idea since the Ming and Oing dynasties.
