In October 2006, twenty nine bronzes including ding, ye, li, gui, dou, plate, and square kettle were discovered. It is said by owner that they were unearthed from a same pit. Most of them bear inscriptions. For example, the word “jun(君)” can be found both on ding and gui.And each of the gui carries 21 words with the meaning relevant to the historical event—“save the army of Qin State” .The square kettles are as exquisite as the ones found in the Chu tomb in Xiasi Village, Xichuan County, Zhejiang Province. The amount and combination situation of the bronzes, and the title of the King of Chu inscribed in ye and plate shows that the occupant of the tomb must be an aristocrat. Moreover, the combination of this group of bronzes reveals some local characteristics .Judging from the shape, decoration, and inscription, the author concludes that the date of the bronze group is between late Spring and Autumn Period, and early Warring States Period.
