摘要
在传统的"填鸭式"教学法逐渐向更为人性化、以学生为中心的交际教学法转变的今天,越来越多的人开始关注焦虑等情感因素对外语学习的影响。尽管焦虑有一定的积极影响,如使学习者保持敏感和警觉的心态等,但本文认为焦虑只在一些简单的认知活动中有积极作用,而对于语言学习等复杂的活动更多的是起到消极作用无效。本文通过课堂教学改革实践,以及对改革效果的学生问卷调查,得出以下结论:焦虑在外语学习过程中普遍存在并对语言学习有负面影响,但是可以克服;消除焦虑是培养自主学习能力的一个重要条件。
Affective factors such as anxiety in language learning is receiving more and more attention in the age when more humanistic, communicative and learner-centered teaching approaches are taking the place of traditional "spoon-fed" teaching method gradually. Although anxiety may have some positive effect, such as to make learners keep sensitive and vigilant state in learning, this paper claims that anxiety only has limited positive effect on some simple cognitive activities, while it is likely to have greater negative effect on complex cognitive activities, such as language learning. Base on teaching reform and practice, as this paper argues that anxiety affects the whole teaching- learning process by its negative effects, while it is conquerable; and that anxiety elimination is an important means of cultivating learner autonomy.
