随着现代体育事业的蓬勃发展,运动会开幕式表演(包括仪式部分和主体表演部分)已成为一种宝贵的人类文化财富尤其是奥运会、亚运会、全运会等一些大型运动会开幕式的表演,集中反映了一个国家的政治、经济、管理实力,和文化、体育、艺术水平,体现着强烈的时代特征和深厚的民族文化底蕴,对人类的文化繁荣和文明进步都产生着深远影响。当今演出由于物质条件的高度发展,艺术思维极其活跃,观众审美需求不断提高。现代高科技手段被不断地运用到开幕式的表演中,这就对表演场地的视觉设计提出了更高的要求。

With the rapid development of modern sports, the opening ceremony show for a sports meet （including the rituals and the performance） has become a kind of valuable cultural asset,especially for such large-scale sports meets as the Olympic Games, Asian Games and the National Sports Meet. Such performances have in fact reflected a country＇s national power in its politics, economics, administration as well as its cultural, sports and artistic levels,have shown strong characteristics of modern times and its rich national culture and history, and may have a deep influence on humanity＇s cultural boom and civilization advancement. Due to the rapid improvement of economy, the performances of our times indicate the very active and creative artistic thinking by artists and the ever-increased aesthetic needs of audience. It is obvious that modern high-technologies have been applied into the artistic performances for the opening ceremonies, which definitely demand a high-level artistic design of the performance location.
