Making Alterations from the Overseas Chinese in the USA to American Chinese

华侨,是指仍保留我国国籍的具有中国血统的侨居国外的我国公民;华族是指具有中华民族血统和中国文化特征的人,包括保持中国国籍的"华侨",取得美国国籍的"华人",以及华侨、华人的后裔——"华裔",从华族形成的原因入手,来论述华侨到华族的形成及前景。

Overseas Chinese are those who have Chinese bloodline and with Chinese traditional cultural characteristics. That means they still have Chinese citizenship, or they are Chinese people with American nationality, or they are foreign citizen of Chinese origin. This dissertation proceeds with the cause of the forming of American Chinese, and then probes into it and gives perspective of them.
