Academic Origins and Way Out of Difficult Position of Seven Emotions in TCM

七情的学术渊源与所面临的困境是七情理论创新必须搞清的两个问题。通过对陈言治学根柢、学术风格的考察，发现：①陈言把情定为七是受汉代以来“七体”文风与《难经》以降“以七论病”思路影响的结果；②所选七种情志是遥承《内经》九气致病论述与其临床实践结合的产物；③七情属于基本情绪范畴，是由种族进化所形成的人类共有的情绪，这是七情科学价值的“内核”。对当今社会复杂情志表现及病证分析表明：①把情定为七闭塞了对其他情志的认识，妨碍具体概念向抽象水平的发展，是其陷入困境的根源；②七情本身的深化发展与构建新的情志理论，是七情研究走出困境的出路。

The academic origins and facing difficult position of seven emotions are two problems that must be made clear for bringing forth new ideas.By studying of ChenYan who set up the concept learning background ,discover:1)that Chen named emotion by number 7 was affected with style of writing“QiTi”originated from Han dynasty and tradition of discussing disease in 7 amount from《Nan Jing》,2)Standard of choosing seven emotions was these which could be connected the related viscera,3)Seven emotions belong to human’s essential mood,so it has so long vitality,through analyzing complex emtional expression and disease related to emotion show that named mood by 7 number close up to see other emotions and stop developing the concept into abstract level so that is the source of falling in the tight corner It’s the way out of the tight corner to deepening study seven emotions and build up new theory of emotion
