This paper discusses the method de-polymerizing gelatinized TDI tri-hydroxyl adducts and introduces use of the depolymerizing product as toughening agent in perchloroethylene coatings and use in preparation of PU adhesives. Getting good results in the above uses, we have found a route for treating and reusing waste gelatinized PU.
