和谐社会要按照民主法治、公平正义的总要求来构建,因而要有和谐的教育环境与之配套。作为当代中国教育发展的一项重要内容,民办教育的法律、法规还有诸多不完善之处,由此影响了民办教育的健康发展。因此,应在认真解读和践行现有民办教育法律、法规的基础上加快民办教育立法进程,依法治教,全面促进构建民主和谐的社会主义社会。
