摘要
This paper suggests that the problem of language in contemporary French philosophy is concerned significantly with extential forms of human beings and their actual activities, not just expression beyond human thoughts and their existences. With a commentary on Professor Yang Dachun’s new book,Language,Body, and the Other,Three Themes in Contemporary French Philosophy,it analyses the development of contemporary French philosophy in the perspectives of the problem of language, arguing that, concerning how to deal with the problem, contemporary French philosophy proceeded from ideas through expressions, from consciousness to body, and from body to the other by,described imaginatively, rising, falling and reviving of language in philosophy. Finally, the paper also criticizes some points from Yang Dachun’s new book.
