Thoughts on Effects of Business Support on Future Cable TV Industry

数字化和双向网改造促使有线运营商重新认识以业务支撑为中心的IT技术在企业运营中的作用。随着IT服务、供应链、工作流的兴起,ITO(信息技术外包)、BPO(业务流程外包)使小企业能快速、高质量地获得以往大企业才具备的核心竞争力。电信行业为因应这种变化,开始从传统的基础网络运营商向综合信息服务提供商战略转型。本文是将笔者在重庆有线进行业务支撑规划和建设实际工作中的几点思考与广大读者分享,希望能抛砖引玉,引发同行对业务支撑建设更多的关注和讨论。

Digitalization and bidirectional transformation marks cable TV has entered a new stage of development. At this stage,the original monopoly will be broken and the cable TV industry,will have more developing chance while facing market competition.In corporation operation,cable operators must re-recognize role of the IT technology which takes business support as the core.Combining with planning and construction practice of CATV business support system in Chongqing,the author gives thoughts on effects of business support on future cable TV industry and wishes to call more attention and discussion.
