Commercial vehicle diesel engine and its parts with advanced technology meet Guo Ⅲ and Guo Ⅳ——Focus on Busworld Asia,2008(A)

车用压燃式、气体燃料、点燃式发动机国Ⅲ排放标准已于2007年1月1日开始实施,2008年1月1日起达不到国Ⅲ排放标准的新车一律不得在全国销售、注册登记和投入使用。2008年3月1日起,北京开始实施国Ⅳ排放标准。2008年7月1日起,北京市公交、环卫、邮政的柴油和天然气发动机的汽车实施国Ⅳ排放标准并要求安装车载诊断装置(OBD)。

The national standard of Guo Ⅲ exhaust emission for compression ignition engine, gaseous fuel engine and spark ignition engine has been executive since 1st January, 2007. Any new vehicle which failed to meet Guo Ⅲ standard is not allowed to sale, register and put into use in whole country from 1st January, 2008 then on. Guo Ⅳ standard is executive in Beijing from 1st March, 2008 then on. In the public traffic, environmental sanitation and postal systems of Beijing, the vehicles with diesel engine or natural gas engine should meet Guo Ⅳ and install OBD from 1st July, 2008 then on.
