On the International Division from the Perspective of Value Chain

经济全球化促进了生产要素的自由流动,推动了国际分工由产业之间、产品之间向价值链分工发展。这种以价值链为基础的国际分工主要表现为:要素合作、中间产品贸易增大、外包的迅猛发展等。在这种分工格局下,一国的比较优势不仅体现在产业、产品上,更多体现在价值链上。各国在价值链上所处的位置,决定了它在国际分工中的利益分配。中国目前在国际价值链上处于不利地位,自主创新是改变这种不利地位的根本出路。

Economic globalization has promoted the movement of factors, pushing the international division between industries, products to the value chains. International division of value chain is characterized by： factors cooperation, trade of intermediate goods increased and the rapid development of outsourcing. In the division of labor, comparative advantage is not only reflected in a country＇s industry, products, and more importantly in the value Chain. The gains from international division mainly depends on the location in the value chain. China is currently at a disadvantage in the international value chain. Independent innovation is the fundamental way to change this unfavorable situation.
